Did you know Darlene is one of a handful of certified Clinical Members in SK of the esteemed American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy Association? To become certified, in addition to her Master’s Degree, Darlene completed the prestigious and rigorous required training which included over 1000 hours of therapy with individuals, couples and families.
To say that she’s amazing and experienced would be an understatement!
Darlene is a uniquely qualified Relationship Professional, however, in addition to her work with couples and families, she also does excellent work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, grief and many other issues as well.
Darlene helps her clients look at their situations from a new perspective, identifying their strengths and embracing change.
Speaking of change…Darlene has embraces change herself by continuing to gain new tools to add to the skill-set she already has. For working with couples, she’s received training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). She is also a Certified Journey Practitioner and trained in Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) as well as Impact Therapy. These new modalities are especially impactful in resolving grief, anxiety, and trauma.
Assisting her clients to become free from years of anxiety, pain and distress, both individually and in their relationships, is what drives Darlene’s passion for her work.
In her off hours, Darlene is an outdoor girl enjoying nature as she snowshoes or pole walks. She even taught herself to play the guitar! Cool, right?
