When it comes to your relationship, your family or your kids, you’re in great hands with Julie!
She has a Masters Degree in Marriage, Family & Child Counselling, international training and a wealth of experience and knowledge.
She is highly skilled and easy to talk to. Julie works with adults, couples, families and children. She specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, anger, intimate partner violence, work related stress, grief & loss, attachment, separation & divorce, parenting as well as co-parenting issues.
In addition to her work with adults, couples and families, and as a member of the Canadian Association for Child & Play Therapy, Julie specializes in Art & Play Therapy which is extremely helpful for children when they may not have the words to describe their feelings.
Please note that when booking an appointment for your child, Julie asks that the first session be a ‘parents only’ session to allow her to gain insight and fully understand the situation that your child is experiencing. This helps to guide her work with your child for the most positive outcome.
Julie loves to learn and is dedicated to continuous training to further enhance her exceptional skills. She has such a warm, soothing and welcoming way about her. She’s genuine and authentic and we love spending time with her.
Julie’s a great singer…and she has even performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City! Wow!
Plus we love chocolate around here, so with a last name of ‘Hershey’, Julie’s a natural fit!
