- Identify 4 things you can touch.
- Notice 3 things you can hear.
- Acknowledge 2 things you can smell.
- Focus on 1 thing you can taste.
Grounding helps you reconnect with the present and takes your focus off anxious thoughts. It’s a quick, effective way to regain control and calm your mind.
