Breathe your way to calm. When stress is high, your breath can be your greatest tool for calming down. Try this simple breath counting technique:
- Close your eyes and take a deep breath in.
- As you exhale, silently count “one.”
- Inhale again, and as you exhale, count “two.”
- Continue counting your breaths up to 10, then start over at one.
This mindful practice helps quiet your mind and bring your focus back to the present, relieving stress in the moment.
