The relationship between you and your therapist is one of the most important parts of the healing process. Research consistently shows that when clients feel genuinely understood and comfortable with their therapist, therapy is simply more effective. Things like communication style, personality, and areas of specialty all play a role in whether the connection feels right — and it’s completely okay to take the time to find that.
We believe you should feel good about who you’re working with before your very first official session. That’s not too much to ask — it’s actually exactly what we want for you.

Your 15-minute connection call is relaxed, informal, and completely free of pressure. Here’s what you can expect:
- Meet your potential therapist — get a real sense of who they are, how they communicate, and what it might feel like to work with them
- Ask your questions — about their specialties, their approach to therapy, their experience, or anything else that matters to you
- Share a little about yourself — what’s been going on for you and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy
- Get a feel for the fit — by the end of the call, you’ll have a much clearer sense of whether this is the right match
