We help our clients live their best lives by successfully moving through the challenges they are currently facing with confidence & clarity, while guiding them toward a life that feels calmer, happier & more fullfilling. We strongly believe in creating lasting change and a renewed sense of wellbeing for all of our clients.
We’ve built a beautiful new space —and we’re looking to welcome exceptional therapists who want to be part of something special.
We are currently hiring for one fulltime position and two part-time positions for Registered Psychologists or Masters Level Social Workers to join our team.
About us:
penney murphy & associates is a boutique counselling & wellbeing clinic that has been part of the Saskatoon community for over 20 years. We’ve recently relocated to a calm, beautifully designed new space in Stonebridge — and we’ve built a team and a culture that genuinely reflects what we believe: that there’s a real difference between getting through life and truly living well.
Does this sound like you?
You’re a clinician who values depth, authenticity, and self-awareness. You care deeply about your work—and you’re looking to be part of a team that is supportive, engaged, and genuinely enjoyable to be part of.
You are:
• A Registered Psychologist, Registered Provisional Psychologist with an external supervisor or a Registered Social Worker (MSW), in good standing with your College or professional association, with current liability insurance
• You are an established practitioner — (an existing caseload is an asset) and a working knowledge of building & sustaining a private practice caseload.
• Familiarity with Jane App is helpful (if not, training will be provided)
• You have training and experience in evidence-based approaches such as CBT, EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), IFS, Somatic, DBT and/or other integrative, client-centred modalities—and you’re passionate about continuing to grow your clinical skills.
• You understand the importance of helping your clients to create a sense of wellbeing in themselves & their lives
— and honouring your own wellbeing as an essential part of the work.
• You are committed to your own growth and self-reflection, and have engaged in your own inner work through therapy, consultation, or ongoing professional development.
• You value connection, collaboration, and community—and want to contribute to a team that truly enjoys working together.
If you specialize in any (or several) of the following
—you could be a beautiful fit for what we’re building.

Individual Therapy with Adults
Bringing energy, skill & presence in supporting clients through stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, life transitions, and the quiet questions that often sit beneath the surface.
Your work is grounded in insight, emotional processing, and helping clients create meaningful, lasting change lasting change.
Couples & Relationship Therapy
You’re trained in and excited by relationship work – guiding couples to reconnect, communicate more effectively, and navigate conflict with greater understanding. You feel confident guiding couples through attachment styles, conflict, trust repair, intimacy, grief, transitions, and supporting couples through both challenges & growth using approaches such as Emotion-Focused Therapy, Gottman Method, IFS, ACT, or other integrative relational modalities.
Individual Therapy for Kids & Teens
Therapy for children and teens looks different than therapy for adults—and we’re intentional about meeting young people where they are developmentally, emotionally, and relationally.
If you take pleasure in creating a safe, engaging space where children and/or teens can express themselves, build emotional awareness, and develop tools to navigate anxiety, behaviour, relationships, and school-related stress we’d love to hear from you.
Art, Play and Sandtray therapy would be an asset for work with children.

Parenting Support
& Coaching
You have experience, understanding and a Toolbox full of tips & techniques to helping parents feel more confident, calm, and effective—offering practical strategies, insight into child development, and support in navigating the complexities of modern parenting.
Men
& Relationships
Your approach is confident, open and effective when it comes to your work with men understanding their unique needs. You help men to strengthen communication, manage anger, rebuild trust, and deepen connection—supporting growth in both personal wellbeing and intimate relationships.

Perinatal Mental Health
Based on your training and experience in Perinatal Mental Health, you provide compassionate, informed care through fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood—supporting the emotional complexity that can come with this season of life including pregnancy loss, identity shifts, relationship changes and the mental load that comes with parenting.

Peri / Menopause
You provide thoughtful, educational and effective support to help women through the emotional and psychological shifts of this life stage, including mood changes, identity transitions, stress, and overall mental wellbeing.

If you have a specialty area you’re passionate about outside of these, we’d love to hear about it—along with the training and experience that support your work.
