Parenting Support
& Coaching

Parenting is one of the most rewarding things you’ll ever do — and one of the hardest. When your child or teen is struggling, it doesn’t just affect them. It affects you too. You might find yourself feeling lost, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to help. You might be second-guessing your instincts or running out of ways to respond. That’s exactly where parenting support and coaching comes in.

You don’t have to figure this out alone — and you shouldn’t have to.

This Is for You

Parenting support and coaching is designed specifically for parents and caregivers who want practical guidance on how to better support their child or teen. This isn’t therapy for your child — it’s dedicated one-on-one time focused entirely on you, your challenges, and the tools you need to feel confident and calm at home.

Think of it as having a knowledgeable, supportive guide in your corner — someone who understands child and teen mental health deeply and can help you navigate it with more clarity and less stress.

Common Challenges We Help Parents With

Every family is different, but some of the situations we most commonly support parents through include:

  • Big emotions & meltdowns — understanding what’s driving them and learning how to respond in ways that actually help
  • Anxiety in children & teens — how to support an anxious child without accidentally reinforcing their fears
  • ADHD & attention difficulties — practical strategies for managing behaviour, routines, and communication at home
  • Mood changes & depression — recognizing the signs and knowing how to show up for a child who is withdrawing or struggling
  • School & peer stress — helping your child navigate academic pressure, friendship conflicts, and social anxiety
  • Divorce & family transitions — supporting your child through change while managing your own emotions at the same time
  • Grief & loss — guiding your child through loss in an age-appropriate and healthy way
  • Defiance & conflict at home — breaking cycles of repeated arguments and rebuilding connection with your child or teen
  • Screen time & boundaries — setting limits that stick and managing the pushback that comes with them

Whatever is going on in your family, there are strategies that can help. We’ll find them together.

What Sessions Look Like

Parenting coaching sessions are one-on-one, conversational, and completely tailored to your situation. There’s no textbook approach here — we start with what’s actually happening in your home and build from there.

In a typical session you might:

  • Walk through a specific situation or pattern that’s been challenging and break down what’s really going on
  • Learn about child and teen development so that your child’s behaviour starts to make more sense
  • Explore new ways of communicating that reduce conflict and build trust
  • Develop a concrete plan or set of strategies to try before your next session
  • Debrief what worked, what didn’t, and adjust your approach accordingly

Sessions are practical by design. You’ll leave each one with something you can actually use.

What You’ll Take Away

Over time, parents who work with us consistently tell us they feel:

  • Calmer — less reactive in the moment and more grounded in how they respond
  • Confident — trusting their instincts and knowing they have the right tools for the situation
  • Connected — enjoying a stronger, warmer relationship with their child or teen
  • Equipped — ready to handle whatever comes next without feeling like they’re starting from scratch every time

These aren’t small shifts. A more confident, regulated parent makes an enormous difference in the life of a child.
