For New Clients

Welcome!

We’ll guide you step by step

Starting counselling can feel like a big decision — especially when you’re already feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or unsure of what you need.

You don’t have to sort everything out on your own.

This page will help us guide you to the right booking options while ensuring your sessions align with insurance or program requirements, where applicable.

There’s no wrong choice here.
If you’re unsure, choose the option that feels closest — we can always adjust as we go.

First, let’s figure out if you have coverage

Please click on the
photo option below
that best fits your situation:

Most extended health insurance or benefits plans cover counselling with specific types of providers.

When you choose this option, we’ll:

  • guide you to counsellors whose credentials are commonly covered

  • help reduce the risk of booking with a provider your plan may not reimburse

  • confirm details together after booking, if needed

If you’re not sure exactly what your plan covers, that’s okay — we’ll help you sort it out.

If your counselling sessions are covered through an Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP), we’ll help ensure you’re booked correctly.

This includes:

  • COS EFAP

  • Other Employee & Family Assistance Programs

When you choose this option, we’ll:

  • guide you to the appropriate program pathway

  • show you only counsellors who work with EFAP clients

  • help ensure sessions are billed correctly

If you’re paying privately, you have the widest range of options available.

This option allows you to:

  • book with any counsellor
    who fits your needs

  • move forward without insurance or program requirements

  • focus solely on finding the right support
